Host infrastucture middleware for a wizard-based multi-tired multi-threaded application to work in a multi-platform setting. Provided generic API for the thread and database connection resource pooling, synchronized read-write message queues, local/remote IPC, process/thread synchronization, object (de-)serialization, task scheduler, message logging facility and exception classes. Developed report-faxing system with these services in the backend, to generate and fax the requested report.
Fault tolerant publish/subscribe protocol to monitor multiple servers' performance from multiple centralized locations using message queues.

Special purpose language to accommodate primitive mathematical operations and programming constructs as part of rule processing engine. It involved tokenizing with lex, implementing predictive top-down recursive descent parser for control constructs and operator-precedence parser for expressions without using yacc, and an interpreter to read/update data in the database.

Parametric Technology Corporation, Pune, India; Software Engineer

Transformed the line fonting related display list instructions to the company specific platform independent page-composition language and then converted to OpenGL primitives. This module is intended to provide a device independent visualization API for CAD/CAM products.
