The videoclip depicts a map which “shows four of the many expeditions across this region. Push each button to see how they came from the East and the West.
Points of light outline the various expeditions routes. As an example, one row of lights tracks the route followed by Spanish explorer Cabeza de Vaca. It starts in Cuba, goes up the west coast of Florida following the sea route until the expedition ship wrecked on the coast of Texas. It continues inland to Mexico onto the Baja California Coast and back down to Mexico City. By 1528 spaniards had conquered two thirds of the Americas including Mexico”.
