“I think the way I would communicate this project would be to first explain what is going on. There is woman who is wearing a hat with a long PVC pipe attached to it with two copper wires dragging on the ground as she moves in circles and in straight lines. I would have samples on the table of the materials, so people could understand what the material qualities are of the device. Definitely I would have the artifact there for people to investigate and put on. Regardless of the fact that they wont be able to hear the sound resonating on the hard hat, they would be able to feel the extent of the pole and the drag of the wires. And for people on wheelchairs and/or deaf, it would be cool to have textures on the floor for them to experiment with the mechanism”.
