 * download file 3Dhp90_EM.tar.gz into a directory to contain the program
 * use gunzip to decompress 3Dhp90_EM.tar.gz into 3Dhp90_EM.tar
 * use "tar xvf 3Dhp90_EM.tar" to create the directory with the code
